Order and Shipping Guidelines
All vendors that are shown on WholesaleGourmet.net ship their products by the case FOB from their point of origination.  Freight costs and handling fees are approximately 20%(+/-) of the wholesale cost and are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise specified by the vendor.  WholesaleGourmet.net does not set shipping rates for any orders that are processed via our website. Rates are derived from UPS point-to-point commercial zip code rates and by weight of the boxes. Please allow 48 hours for processing of orders. Vendors may not have stock on hand and will need to make your products upon receiving the order. Please allow up to five business days to receive the order which is shipped by a third party courier. Orders received by us on Thursday or Friday will ship as early as the following Monday.

Returns
Products can be returned or credit given if they are damaged during shipment for a full refund or replacement. Photo documentation is required and must be reported within 24 hours of receiving shipment. Products can be returned within 30 days of receipt and must be in salable condition and not opened or altered in any way. There is a 20% restocking fee and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Products will be inspected by vendor for returns acceptance.
 
Chocolate and Temperature Sensitive Products
Cold Weather Months - November thru March
It is our policy to process orders for chocolate and other temperature sensitive products when an order is received on a Monday or Tuesday. Orders received Wednesday through Sunday will be processed for shipment the following Monday. This is necessary as the products would sit in the shipping companies warehouse over the weekend and could become damaged as a result. To avoid this delay, products must be shipped OVERNIGHT service only.
 
Warm Weather Months - April thru October
During warm weather months, it is our policy to ship orders for chocolate and other temperature sensitive products strictly OVERNIGHT. Orders received Wednesday through Sunday will be processed for shipment the following Monday. Orders received at ground or 2nd day shipping rates will automatically be upgraded to overnight service. We will notify you before we charge your card as you have an option to cancel at that time.

If there is a problem with your shipment from one of our vendors please contact the vendor directly.  If you cannot reach them, please let us know and we'll do our best to contact them on your behalf.
